Digging Tools!!!

We like tools!!! Digging tools are the cornerstone of our trail building and maintenance.

We like it when kids want to help too!!

Our Junior Sub-Committee has been busy educating the youth on how to play their part in the maintenance and development of trails. For groms, this is clearing drains, sweeping trail, moving small windfall. So we got Ground Effects on board and through their Slush Fund we bought a bunch of kid friendly tools. A bunch of rakes, a few 'Weapons of Mass Creation" and a couple of shovels.

So if you see some groms sweeping trail, give them a high five, give them some encouragement, because they are the trail pixies of tomorrow!!!
