Apprentice Trail Builders Wanted This Summer!

QMTBC, TRAC and Dirt Design are teaming up to offer two apprentice trail building positions in the Ben Lomond Trail network over the upcoming peak summer season.

We are looking for two individuals with a passion for biking, a strong work ethic and a roll up your sleeves and get into it attitude to help us build and maintain the BLT trails over 6 weeks from late December 2024 through to the end of January 2025. It's an awesome opportunity for students on their school holidays or for someone keen to give trail building a go. Previous experience in trail building/trail maintenance and knowledge of using hand tools would be an advantage but having the right attitude is key. The crew at Dirt Design can teach you all the skills you need to know. Both positions will be paid up to 30 hours per week.
